Vera Guerreiro

Vera Guerreiro is a certified trainer by IEFP since 2004, and starts her carreer teaching Creativity and Innovation, after finishing the BA (Hons) Visual and Media Arts at the University of Plymouth in the U.K., with recognition from the University of Lisbon. In 2004, she starts teaching at the Portuguese Red Cross Training Center and then goes to Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Lisbon in 2005 where she teaches English, Integrated Artistic Expression and Psychosocial Development, developing her own program for young people at risk, where she stays until 2020. During this time, she matures a training method with excellent results, based on the humanistic psychology methods, and graduates from Conflict Mediation, Educational Coaching, and from a postgraduate degree in Perceptual Psychopedagogy, amongst other subjects in the artistic area, such as Musical Theater, Singing and Movement, while working professionally in that area. Meanwhile she creates, coordinates and implements a project in the field of education through art in the neighborhood of Trajouce, Sº Domingos de Rana, supported by the Cascais City Council in 2012 and another project concerning a psycho-educational and socio-emotional intervention in partnership with the Associação Aventura Social in 2019 in the Cascais Basic School, also with the support of the Cascais Town Hall. After a brief stay at the Luso-German Beneficence Association as coordinator of Extra Curricular Activities and the “Play Library”, she moves to Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Cascais, where she currently works as a Higher Technician in Education, in the project management area within the scope of pedagogical support and educational innovation. She is currently studying psychology and affective neurosciences in the Master of Science of Emotions at ISCTE.
